Overview
Chyâgà Læhû Kâchyâ was founded durring the early 14th century in summer of the year 1319, by Shepî. The establishment of Chyâgà Læhû Kâchyâ was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Shepî struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Chyâgà Læhû Kâchyâ as a prison colony.
Chyâgà Læhû Kâchyâ was built using the conventions of Rattu durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Chyâgà Læhû Kâchyâ is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Chyâgà Læhû Kâchyâ is buildings are arranged within a network of premissive packed earth streets which form a rectangular grid, where each block verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller block has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The city has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Chyâgà Læhû Kâchyâ's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. Chyâgà Læhû Kâchyâ's monster and outlaw focused fortifications are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the city as needed.
A look around Chyâgà Læhû Kâchyâ has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s all of those things together, or perhaps it's the way these elements combine with the abundance of schools, libraries, and other academic structures. Locals can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear the city places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Chyâgà Læhû Kâchyâ long.

Points of Interest
Chyâgà Læhû Kâchyâ is cursed with recurrent spells of some troublesome disease. The affliction isn’t so fatal as to make living there impossible, but it adds suffering and expense to local lives. The plague might be the product of an ancient curse, the results of long lost toxic remains, or an unavoidable byproduct of whatever industry or purpose justifies the city. It’s probably not overly contagious, but visitors may be in some peril all the same.

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Chyâgà Læhû Kâchyâ was attacked by soldiers from another nation, with orders to raid Chyâgà Læhû Kâchyâ. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Chyâgà Læhû Kâchyâ lost 180 people, 336 livestock, and 58 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 170, when members of Chyâgà Læhû Kâchyâ's militia enacted an operation to transport a specific artifact to a particular strategic location unharmed. The operation was complicated by the officers in charge fight among themselves, weakening the army as a whole. The conflict ended with an assault and siege on the mine, which ended in defeat for Chyâgà Læhû Kâchyâ's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Chyâgà Læhû Kâchyâ's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
